So yes, I am posting...I had to share in my joy of my new Digital Camera. Got it for a half decent price at Cricuit City...only $899 instead of $999 (Woah...big discount there guys...a whimpy $100 :? )

Anyway...still trying to get use to it. I am use to my Cannon SLR EOS A2 35mm. (Mmmm A2....nothing like 1/8000 sec shutter speeds and up to 5+ frames per second! )

Well here is my test photos. :)

My Percula (tank raised...he didn't konw what anemones were at first...now he wants one! ):

My Percula defending his "anemone" (we'll let him think it is one! ) from the Boss of the tank (or so he thinks so) my fat Clarkii Clown:

Finally a good shot of what these wacked things are...I only have a couple of small clusters of them. They never move, nore do they really change position that I know of. :? :

My Anemone...almost a year old in my tank. It has been sucked into my smaller of the two powerheads, lost all its tenticles, and had to regrow every one...now look at it! You would never know it ever happened! :

A side shot of my tank. MIA are the 2 Firefish Gobies (cowards!) and a Blackcap Basslet (BIG coward! Hides all the time!):

Well....it depends on what mood I am in and how I do with my camera to how much I will start posting again.

MP did apologize to me in a PM and I will forgive him. So lets wipe the slate clean and start over.

Glad to see someone built a bridge.

Nice pics fiji. You should learn to use the night framing and nightshot to get some Nocturnal pics.

I stayed up till after 5:30 AM EST to take these.

I am exhausted. :(

Anyway...here are the Nightframing photos. The rapid flash causes glare problems that I will need to perfect on deflecting away from the lense. It is tough when the focus wants to do its own thing and you can't see jack while it is doing its thing. :?

Here are some more photographs or my tank.

Here is a photo of the complete system. (This was in a dark room...the flash on this camera is quite impressive!)(Also...the silver "mirror-like" things on the doors is High Quality Dynamat Sound Reduction material. The foil outer layer is also an insulator.)

Ok...some new polyp in my tank growing off the new Tonga LR. See if anyone knows what it is...if it likes Good light, low light, etc. You can see it trying to grow towards the light when the rock was over it...once I moved the rock it started growing straight up towards the light...humm... :|

The polyps you have there are a type of Yellow Colonial Polyp. They're in the species of Parazoanthus , which is slightly related to the zooanthus family.

What about the brown ones?

Pineapple House

Those look the same species. Just one is getting more light, more photosynthesis, more zooxanthellae, and as you know zooxanthellae is a brownish color. I could be wrong, but they look the same.

PH =)

[EDIT: After seeing a closer picture, it looks like the brown species has some sort of tube in which it's base is surrounded by]
