Hey I have just got a LTA about two weeks ago and it was doing great. When i put it i the tank it bedded down in the sand and move about 4 inches and stayed there for a week. then i got to tomato clowns and now my LTA will not bed down in the sand. i was thinking maybe the clown fish where uprooting him and because my sand is so fine that maybe the LTA could not get a good hold so i put a peace on pipe under the sand thinking maybe he would attach to that be nope the LTA is still trying to float away. the LTA stays open and eats good looks good to but just will not stay. if you have any tricks please post them. oh yes i also have a sebea in the same tank and it is doing really well again he had a bad week and my water is perfect every thing where it needs to be.

There's no way to really "force" an anemone to attach to a substrate. It will only do it on it's own. Usually, when an anemone won't stay attached, it is a strong sign of decline in health.

see i think the LTA try to stick but my clown fish pushes it out of the sand so i was looking for something that maybe it would get a good hold on. i think i might have to ban my clown fish from it some way in tell it gets better. i sure hope that this is it and its not because its unhealthy. time will tell i guess.

You might try placing it between a couple of rocks. Don't wedge it in, or anything, just gently secure it between the rocks, and it may be able to get a hold that way..
