Hey guys,

Just wondering if you take a snapshot in RAW mode, or TIFF how do you go about converting it to JPEG?

In adobephotoshop 7 i open the TIFF which was converted from a RAW image taken on a Minolta, however when I go to save as to save it as a JPEG it won't let me the only options it gives are the photoshop format, TIFF and RAW.

Can you post anything other than JPEG on here?

try "save for web" and see if you can change the format to jpeg.

You could open the image in an editing program, click on "save As", and you should be able to select file type there.

With Photoshop if you try to "save as" it only gives you the three options. You need to go to the "export" option and select the "export as"....

or rather than exporting, i would cmnd+a, (select all) and then cmnd+c (copy) open a new RGB file, and paste...viola, you should be able to save the image anyhting you'd like.

also, make sure to re-size the image and then save for web, that way the .tiff is nicely compressed for uploading on a board like this.

best of luck!
