You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

I have a sponge on my overflow and I was thinking of taking it off but I do not know what to put in place of it and I also want to keep it as quiet as possible can anyone help me with this.

Overflow goes straight to the sump

You can check this page for some ideas, Not sure what type of overflow you have setup. Do you have a photo of it?

I don't know what the exact disign of this is, but you might want to take in mind a Durso Standpipe. Noisy overflows can be quite a pain, and durso would quite this up to only the lightest sound of water trickling :)

I have an Oceanic overflow and it works great. You can hear the noise of the water dumping over the edge of the overflow but it is not extremely loud. They make replacement foam filters to place over the standpipe.
