Actually, I'm just using my my DV camcorder (JVC). It takes excellent digital stills, and has a pretty good macro feature. Images are stored on a SD card, and not the tape, like some other cameras, so that's a plus.

Actually, it's just particulate matter floating about in the tank. I don't use any mechanical filtration for trapping particles. I also have a big Sleeper Goby in there, who kicks up alot of sand. :D

MattThats good to know I was told that their are some kind of snails that lay eggs in the playthoa and the larva eat the as their prenatal send off.

Do you know the exact scientific name for the Xenia from your first post? I have two kinds in my tank and this is one of them. Please reply as a private message.

It is Xenia Umbellata, which I believe is native to the Red Sea.

Thanks :D It's a JVC GR-DVL220U. Its a mini DV camcorder, but it takes very comperable stills, and stores them on SD media card.
