You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

IMO skilters are worthless. If you have a power filter on the tank you are already filtering biologic, chemical and mechanical. Get yourself a good small protein skimmer...sea clone comes to mind and use the skimmer as a skimmer not a multifunctioning filter/skimmer/bottle opener/cd player.

I have tried to like the skilter. I really have tried. I just do not think they work well as a SKIMMER. Great power filter though.

Agreed..Skilter is useless for a salt tank.

There are other skimmers out there that will do the job better.
