What no pics of the canopee????

Great looking tank! I can't wait to see it in full production. It looks like acrylic, is it? If it is, what kind of substrate are you going with?

scott...

i know rather costly...but while at work, i had a vision...

have you considered adding +GF+ Signet products???

last night at work, we have on the back of or presses (which are water cooled) Signet +GF+ water flow monitors...

the monitors we use are for industrial applictions and the average flow in and out of the press is almost 20,000 gallons per hour...or about 327.5 GPM...which is way higher than you'd ever need...but they have two relays...one for your in, one for your out...that way you can see that you're getting an equal flow iin and out...

and so i researched a little, and Signet offers a plethora of cool monitors...including pH, salinity, GPM/GPH etc. and just wondering if you had considered implementing any such devices into your setup???

here's a couple links...

Well, had planned on leak testing this weekend, but decided to paint the house/room before the tank has 2700lbs of water in it. :D So another delay in the process, but what can you do.

Well, I filled it up with sand on sunday. I am waiting on my spear actuated ball valve. They were on back order, so I dont expect it any time soon. So things are kind in a holding pattern right now, I will probably be working in the basement some more the week (Drywall and Stuff)

Yea, we cancelled our web account with yahoo cause they kept double billing us. Before I had a chance to copy the website, it was gone. I get some new pics up this weekend.

Well, in the past two weeks, I was able to get my tank running. Right now my web server is down, so I will not be able to post any pics. Here is the update though.

I finally got the actuated ball valve, and then I had to order a special timer from My Reef Creations. Right now the tank is cycling. Here are the specs.

800lbs of southdown
4 400w Radiums on PFO/HQI ballast
4 PFO moonlights attached to the mogul sockets
4 48" VHO's on ice cap ballast
Reef Concepts 848 powered by an Iwaki 100rlt
Reef Concepts Calcium Reactor
Aquanetcs 1000w Fireplug
Ampmaster 3000/spears ball valve for wave simulation
3 mag 9's for return from the basement.
90g Fuge
all controlled by an aquacontroller.
I will post some pics as soon as I get my web server back up.
