Hey everyone!
I have a 4 inch Web Burrfish in my 55 gallon tank. He is a strict live fish eater. He only eats live comets, rosy reds and guppies. But it's very hectic and expensive to keep on going to the LFS every day to get 2 dozen feeder fish. I want to switch him over to frozen squid, bloodworms, krill, brineshrimp, ext, with a few live snacks here and there. I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to train a Burrfish or any fish in that matter to go from live fish eater to frozen foods. I bought frozen shrimp and half dozen rosy reds, so thats the supplies that I have. Thanks!
Dan

try shaking the frozen fish in fron of him, cut back on feeding him live to every other day, also when you feed him life feed him one then drop a piece of froozen next to him. make sure it's unthawed

I have 2 Burr Fish in my system. They both enjoy Spectrum pellets, Ocean Nutrition gel food and all sorts of seafoods including Krill. We feed them with tongs. You can get a pair almost anywhere. Wiggle the food in front of them and maybe move it quickly through the water. You can also try garlic paste, I hear it is a really big attractant for fish in general.
