Was wondering how you guys get such good macro shots. I just got done borrowing a friends camera, pretty nice one but I can't get shots that close. It says focus too close.

I've discovered that I can get in better if I'm angled to the glass. Any other tips? What types of cameras are you using?

I'm looking to buy a new camera, what should I be looking for so I can get these great shots. Thanx!

As long as your camera is capable of taking images in a high mega-pixel rate, you should be ok. Set the camera to shoot the largest size images and then just stand back and shoot. Once you get it on your computer, you can crop and resize any part of the image. That allows me to zoom in on a particular coral without the image distorting. This pic is from a full size shot of my tank, just cropped down and resized. The more megal pixels, the more clear the image is. I'm shooting with a Nikon Coolpix 5000 and still trying to figure it out. But I think it's taking some nice pics.
