Im currently trying to figure out good ways of arraneging Live Rock, sofar ive heard everything from "just get a giant peice and chip off what you dont want" to "use glue", nothing really sounds verry appealing and i would like some input before i go and kill a bunch of 4$ a lb rock :]

I just bought a bunch and made a reef with some little bridges and caves. Are you in Denver, where did you get your L.R.? Marine Showcase is having a sale right now.

I'm in Denver, where is Marine Showcase at...
Anyway, I agree, make caves and bridges for your fish to swim around in. Ledges for corals.
You can do this by putting large pieces across the bottom spaced apart. then medium pieces across them forming little caves, then just build up.

Ah so i shouldnt worry too much about secureing it, i take it.

I have recently learned that most LR you can get comes in smaller hunks than i had thought, and i think ive ordered what i can build best with, haha hopefully...

I live in Longmont (about 40miles N. of Denver), there arent any decent fish stores around here (closest one is in Boulder) and they tried to sell me 40$ powerheads that online i can get for 10$, so i havent put much faith in LFSs, sofar most everything ive bought online (marine depo, ebay, liveaquaria for my live stuff) or gotten from friends allready in the hobby.

Where abouts is this Marine Showcase, i havent heard of it before but if its worth a trip up to see, i think that might be time well spent.

Marine Showcase is located about 1 mile east of I-25 off of Arrapahoe, pm me and I can give better directions. Also Todd's Tropical Fish is decent theres a few places in Denver, you should make a reef shopping day and check out a few of them.
