Cool pics jason. When do the polyps come out? I want to get MH on one side of my tank but my canopy is only 7" high is that to short for a 150 or 175 watt metal halide?

well joey i dont have a canopy and my 250 sits right on the glass top.the polyps are out constantly.

well tell you what joey take a look at the pendent i built in general reef dicussions and tell me what you think.if i come across a light ill send you the ballast reflector and socket.i have a 400w right now but thats a little much for the 55g.dont hold your breath cuz i dont know if i can or when i can get one.

Today at shool we went to a vocational school and they had classs for electritions and law enforcement. My stepdad said I should be an electician but I dont know whats the starting salary and why does it suck?

well when i started i got 10 hr now i make 17hr.after i get my licence ill be getting 22 hr and my own truck.its alot of labor and crap u have to put up with in the construction industry.plus you have to do 10000hrs in the field before you can get your licence and once you top out as a apprentice thats it no more raises till the licence.thats 5years you have to work before you can make tyhe big bucks.plus the benifits inlawenforcment are much better.if i may ask what does you sepdad do?

He is a journyman repair man for General Motors. That is why we had to move to Lexington Ohio. He repairs the big press. But I dont want to be stuck inside all the time. I guess I will go with law enforcement. At a local vocational school they have law enforcement classs and you get college credits. I dont know exactly what I want to do in law enforcement. I will probably start out as a police officer making $25,000 a year plus benifits. But that meens I will be busy learning all the codes and I live rite next to a fairly bad neighborhood. My uncle was wanting me to be a electrician because he is a building inspector. He always says building is where the money is at! My tank is actually looking good my stepdad complemented it a seond ago. I got a condy and it hasnt moved at all. Stays right in the sand with a cluster of broken live rock.

ill assume your uncle is a contractor,so he has people doing all the work for him.yes electrical is were the money is but unless you own yuour own business you will be laboring the rest of your life and think about that.do you really want to labor every day to make somone else cash.if your gonna go into the trades look into pluming or hvac.they make just as much money and dont have to do half the work electricians do.i also work for a petroleum contractor so all we do is wire gas stations,this part of the job ids greaty as we are not working in one place for more than 3 months.reg. electrical contractors work on projects doing the same tasks every day for years at a time on the same job.
