well number one you probably didn't do any research as this fish gets about 2 feet and requires a 100 gal tank.

well, i didn't really know much about this fish except that my lfs said it would be ok in my tank. i got sick of never seeing it and decided to bring it back. My lfs is actually pretty cool, he'll let me trade in fish for the price he sells them for, as long as they are healthy. So i traded the formosa wrasse in for a foxface rabbit fish. I know, this guy is gonna get large, and i will either get a new tank or trade/sell him. Thanks for the info!

Its not really proper to be doing that with fish IMO. I'm not trying to get you angry or upset you, but this hobby most people try and consider the animal they are buying and consider them as part of the family or pets. Buying an animal just cause you can take it back when it outgrows your tank is rediculous. I don't know anybody that goes to a pet shop and buys a puppy or cat and then takes it back when it grows up.. Why would you do that with a fish? It also puts alot of un-needed stress on the fish. I'm not blaming you, your LFS is obviously off their rocker telling you that wrasse would be fine for your tank when they can get up to 2 feet in length. Then after taking that one back, selling you a fish that will get up to 9" in your tank and should only be started in a 70 gallon minimum.. LFS should be required to have their employees take tests to work there.. :D Anyway, i've harped enough, forgive me , but please understand where I am (and others) are coming from.

i appreciate your thoughts, and i do agree with you. But i didn't buy the foxface with the intent on bringing him back. the formosa wrasse was a bad choice all around, as he didn't get along with one of the other fish, and my lfs said that they would. In all honestly, i will probably be getting a larger tank around june, so i hope the foxface will be okay until then. the other fish i have, 2 damsels, a pseudochromis and a false percula clown, aren't supposed to get too big. Well, i hope everything works out with these fish! thanks!
