A 29 gallon will be way too small in the long run. They need a minimum of 75 gallons when adult and in the 29 should have no tankmates due to the small tank size and their aggressive tendencies. They need live rock in order to feel safe. They should not be given live foods as this dramatically increases their aggression. Anyway, hope this helps and good luck.

the 29 is small just keep in mind you should upgrade to a larger tank. i used to feed my triggers when i had them silversides, frozen krill and pellets. plenty of live rock so he can feel safe. but no other fish will be able to live with him not even another trigger as they will fight with each other. good luck
