How is that blenny I want to get one what do you feed it?

great addition to your tank. Funny lil fish, he eats a lot of algae and growth on live rock and glass. Also will scavenge for leftover food on the tank bottom

Are they aggressive?And does it stay out in the open?

Not an agressive fish. He is always somewhere i can see him. I have a big one and a small one in a 55. They arent harassed by the more aggressive fish that i have (Cat shark, Bursa Trigger) The blennies are full of personality.

My 55 isnt a reef tank, Its a shark tank at the moment, probably will remain one for about 3-6 months till the shark is no longer a baby and needs more play room. I have

1 Marble cat shark
1 Clarkii clown
1 Bursa Trigger
1 Striped Damsel
2 Lawnmower Blennies
some crabs
1 Condi anenome
1 LT anenome
approx 20lbs live rock

My tank is still in the beggining phases.
I am building a 10 gallon mini reef tho. Tank is cycling out right now.

Not adding any live creatures till the first of March

Cool I have a 12 gallon nano cube and it just got finished cycling. I added a firefish and a perdula clown but the clown died it was in perfect health from a great petshop.

Perculas are weird. Thats why i am cycling now. I had 2 Perculas and one was great and the other seemed less healthy. Both ended up dieing. I think I am going to go with a watchman goby and shrimp combo. They are pretty neat together.

I had a yellow watchman goby for a little over six months and only saw him come out a couple times. Then I found him dead. It was a waste of $25. They always hide!

Well as small as the tank is, I think I will be able to see him. Only want a few small fish in it. something that is fun to watch. I saw the pair at the LFS and was quite intrigued by their work ethic...lol.

Maybe it was just my fish. I have heard very good things about them. I saw a picture with a mated pair of watchman gobies, and a pistol shrimp it was so awesome!

yah, i have had bad experiences with NEMO's, those Percula's. Just seem to be weak fish.
Also had a blue headed wrasse die on me over night a few weeks back.. was doing great then one day just died. From what i hear fish caught in the phillipeans *spelling* are often caught with sionide gas, will live for a few months then their internals just shut down and they die on ya. Im starting to question the origins of the fish i had gotten from the LFS that have perished when in fact the other fish i have do great. Hell i have a $3 striped damsel that is meaner than my trigger.. i put him in there soley to be food... and nothing will go near it...lol

I know what you meen I had a purple psudechromis just a little purple fish and it was meany. It bit fins and killed another purple psuedochromis.
