Here are some reviews of some good books. I might be adding some more good books later on :-)

Freshwater And Marine Aquarium Fishes by Simon & Schuters

http://www.darthpaul.co.uk/fishcrazy/reviews/images/book-freshmarinefish.jpg

"A guide for beginners and experts alike, Simon & Schuter's guide to Freshwater and marine aquarium fishes is the most useful book an aquarium enthusiast can own. Whether you are interested in goldfish, guppies, or the most exotic marine species, the opening section on starting an aquarium covers everything you need to know. Illustrated in color throughout, the 295 entries covers plants, amphibia, reptiles, and invertebrates as well as aquarium fishes. Each entry provides the common name, scientific name, and family; distribution of shape, color, and size; information on sexual differences, feeding habits, reproduction, compatibility with other species, and much more. Next to each entry are easy-to-read symbols that indicate the proper temperature, pH, and illumination! (Copied from back of book) "

This is an exelent book, for beginners, and experts, As this has 1000's of fishes, 100's of corals, and 100's of plants, amphibians, etc. I recommend this book to anyone out there. Although it is a bit old, but the amazing illustrations make up for that. While some of the filteration methods are off a bit, they do have amazing pictures, and easy to read guides to guide you every step of the way.

This covers everything from setting up a tank, to maintaining it. And, for a small price of $16.00 it is worth it.

This have all of the scientific names for all the fish and corals, it has the care, and everything else too. The text is laid out, so it is very easy to read. They explain things very well, and very detailed about what everything is, and what it is about.

This, also has a section on fish parasites, how to treat them, how to find them and how to set up a quarantine tank.
Very recommended for anyone!

This is a very short, yet VERY deatailed book, for Mainly beginners. This book has everything you need to know, about setting a up a fish only tank, or an exotic reef aquarium. It starts out as "Factors to consider" which has some things you have to think about, before you buy the tank. Such as feeding, cost, etc. After that, it moves on to other things, such as equiptment purches, what to buy, "life" in the aqurium, and all the basics to maintain a sucessful aquarium.

This book also has easy to read steps, and very well Illustrated Pictures, for almost every coral, as well as some tips, to keeping the coral healthy and alive. This book mostly covers easy to keep Soft Corals, easy to keep fish, and some easy to keep inverts.
If you are thinking about setting up a marine aquarium, or just want to learn about them, this small yet very cheap book, which runs $7.00 U.S. would be an ideal buy, for any beginner.

This is definitaly one of the best books I have gotten. This 464 page book, covers over 700 different types of corals, with over 700 fully covered pictures of each and everyone. I would recommend this to both the beginner, and expert aquariest.

This book also goes into very detailed intructions on care, such as lighting, feeding, current, and compadibility. I would highly recommend this book to anyone out there!

Reef Fishes Volume 1
By Scott W. Michael

This would no doubt, be the best book on reef fishes out there. This book covers over 22 families of reef fishes, and even has there pictures, in full illustrated color. This book also goes in to very good detail on feeding, behaviour, etc. This book, might be a bit expensive at $74.00 (U.S.) but if you do buy it, you will not be upset. Even Volume two is said to be under way, and might be availible soon!
