Does anyone have experience w/ this type of fish? I want to setup a 260 gal. predator tank and want info on this species. Any info will help. Thanks.

well mine is over a foot in size and you cant have any fish that he can get in their mouth. They like frozen food but if you put little fish in their as feeder fish they will gulp them right up.

is there anything particular you wanted to know about them??

Nothing in particular. I work at a pet store and we have one. I was just wondering what people have experienced with this fish.

I LOVE my Red Emperor! I grew him from the time he was only a couple of inches and he is now over a foot! I have found them to be pretty easy going but I have him in a 6500 gallon tank. As with any Snapper or Grouper, I would be aware of things that could fit in to his mouth!
