XBOX live is awesome!!! i'm addicted to Mechassualt!!!

ghost recon is suppossed to be good, although i hear some people say it isn't...

nfl fever is ok, but not my favorite football game...can't wait 'till EA jumps on with NCAA 2004, and Madden 2004...LOOK OUT!!!! :twisted:

the demo versions of whacked and motoGP are pretty tight, but i'm not going to run out and buy full additions yet...

some other games are live compatible, in that you can download other levels, costumes, tracks, cars, bike, or whatever else the developers want to throw your way...and from what i here, microsoft offerred the software companies free bandwith space for consummers to download...in which, most will be free to download. games like toe jam & earl, tom clancy's splinter cell, etc.

Whats would be better to get Mech Assult or Unreal Championship?

I have to get it for someone who loves Halo and Max Payne

from some one who never really got into duke nukem, halo, or any other FPS, i'd say go with mechassault...but i've heard UC is cool...just got another xbox yesterday...so that we (me and my roomie) can network together and play on different tv's. picked up splinter cell as well. OMG!!!! i don't even want to start playing that game, i'll get lost in it for a couple of weeks!!! :oops: :wink: :shock: :lol: (how many people you know played metal gear solid straight until it was beat???) :twisted:

why not get mechassault, and wait for halo 2? i have to admit the online gaming at mechassault is intense...there are a lot of really good...i mean TOO GOOD players out there. (and i'm getting to be one of 'em :P :twisted: )

infact, in a game called "Not It!" i'm nationally ranked in the hundreds out of i think some 14,000+ players...and that number's growing everyday!!!

with live, you're really no more than 4-5 button presses away from a match up...it was Gate's/microsoft main goal when they decided to go live. and that my friend, is awesome!!! :shock: :lol:

how far are you in splinter cell? i think i'm going to go out and get ghost recon...along with toe jam & earl for the "wifey"...she loves the series, and we just recently sold her genesis/CDX to a collector...video game...not bill! lol :wink:

I have not tried Unreal yet. I am hooked on mechassault.

Unreal is good, if you like Halo, duke nukem, half-life you will like Unreal.

X-box Live is a very cool option, if you have hign speed internet access.

I have splinter cell also, but have not played it yet :)

Will have to get Mech assault this weekend and kick some reeflounge members butts :)

Can we setup a private server for reeflounge members to play mech assault on?

LOL, you mean you have seen my wife online... We were having a lot of problems this weekend. We kept dropping our connection, I hope they have fixed the problem. One of us should be on tonight. Ill tell her to go easy on you

I have seen when I host some matches that i have the room filled and when I start the match 2 or 3 people drop right away, they say that it said host not available, even though we get the match off :)

My wife has been playing A LOT MORE then I have... Gee, I thought it was my Christmas gift :) I think she is like 1900/2000 but those number change by the hour.

I like to play destruction, so i am the only one that gets the wins

I agree, I also found that a lot of people drop out of the team games, and you are left fighting against 7 people by yourself.

in the 100's, but i haven't checked the ranking since i've been back...someone said they reset at the 1st of the year...

i love playing "NOT IT!", and i usually pilot a mad dog :twisted:

as far as dropping players, i can tell you how to secure players and makesure there are no drops...

as far as dropped connections, i can help you with that too...

well...before my sygate trial expired...i was in the 100's...don't know where i'm at know...i suspect lower...i figure tons of kids must have gotten live, or MA for christmas...and i haven't played (or been able to connect) since then...

i like the new maps...and i like 1 of the new mechs (raven)...it's a solid support mech, especially in team matches...i've been using it pretty regularly.
