I have a complete hood lighting system which has 4 36watt pc actinic lights and 1 150 watt mh. I want to get a canopy and add more lights. Is this possible, can you take apart these hoods. the ballest is sperate. If not i can mount in canopy which would be 48-50" long and the hood is only 43" long could i add another mh to that?

I have taken many hoods apart without any problems, but which fixture is it. If it has an HQI I would not mess with it because of the UV issue.

hey it is made by a guy in LA. not like a mass produced. What should it be if I can take it apart?
