What is the best size lens to use for macro? I have two lenses but neither will focus on anything up close. I would like to start taking some pics, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Canon EOS Rebel 2000 SLR w/ a 28-80 Tamron lens and a 75-300 Tamron lens.

Hi,
You would need a lens that is specificaly for macro photography I use a 75-200 mm lens and I can use it for just about anything a 2.8 is what most perfessionals use but there more costly check on e-bay you can get just about what ever your looking for there just make sure it's for macro photography. Hope this helps
