I am starting a nano reef in an eclipse 15. In my reading I have have seen a few people say that they would do some mods. What changes would you recommend

I think some of the mods are the lighting and changes in the filtration system. Are those the type of mods you are talking about?

I think that is what they were refereing to. All they ever said was that they would change a few things but they never said what they would change

it's for an eclipse 1, i'm not sure what length/wattage PC ballast people are retrofitting...but i might try to cram a pad 18.5" 1x 96w CF/PC 50/50 quad
it retails for $129.95 over at http://www.hellolights.com/185cfquadret.html.
that's a little beefy on watts per gallon averaging 6.4w/g.
