shredded my hands moving LR

For all you newbies out there, do not handle large quantities of LR without taking extra special precaution. I rearranged my LR yesterday, and my hands were butchered. I have 30 to 40 one-inch long slices across the palms of my hands. In my tank I have Marshall and Fiji rock. Maybe they make reef-safe gloves or something. But just be forwarned...live rock is sharp! :x

Just go to your local dive shop and pick up a pair of diving gloves.

Or...if you don't have a local dive shop...order them online from any site dealing with dive equipment.

I have a pair and they are WORTH it...keeps your hands safe and also keeps corals, etc. safe from any oils/chemicals in/on your skin. :wink:
