Brief statement about the tank and what it means to me

This tank was setup in June of 2000. It is the product of over two years
prior experience and additional planning. I find that my setup would allow
me to keep just about anything I want. The tank is very well stocked,
however, the entire structure is surprisingly open. The pieces of live rock
are on the large side with openings and the shapes that make aqua-scaping
very easy. I do enjoy the movement of soft corals and other inhabitants,
therefore, I have selected to keep mostly soft corals and a few LPS and SPS
corals.

The tank is located in my home office and all of the equipment external to
the tank is located in the basement with the sump. I use live rock, live
sand and a skimmer for filtration. Water changes are done every couple of
months and freshwater auto-top off is 2-3 gallons daily (sometime more in
winter). This tank requires very little care beyond regular feeding and
glass cleaning for company. A contrast from my first saltwater tank based
on LFS advice...

In many ways this tank has become an expression of myself, and, it has
provide countless hours of learning, caring, creating and sharing.

Thanks Again,
Mark Muccio
