I have read/heard they are thinking about converting the old Lions Stadium into an aquarium... That would be really cool.

I heard about that too, but from what I've gotten, it seems that it was more rumor than fact.
However, I did talk to one of the city planners, and they said that there is going to be an aquarium, and the goal is to have it up before the Superbowl is played here (I don't remember which year that is). They haven't decided for sure what the site will be.
