Hi, my tank is a year old and is a 100 gal all glass tank
with a 20 gal long refugium/sump I run a Excalibur Skimmer
24/7 all make up water is ro/di with Kent Marine liquid calcium added I drip Kalkwasser once a week,lighting
consists of 190 watts of vho actinic/daylight and 675 watts of Metal Halide 12k and 10k bulbs I use electronic timers
for dawn to dusk effect and use Titanium heaters for heating
if needed, and one Visa therm, I have two seven in fans in canopy for air movement and do 15 gal water changes every two weeks
with Instant Ocean salt held at 1.024 and a ph of 8.3
with Pinpoint monitor no chiller is needed temp is around 81
all the time I have all kinds of corals in the tank and use a live sb about 3 in I have about 10 fish mostly small to keep the bio load down the highlight is my Purple Tang I just love that fish I feed all kinds of frozen foods once every 2 days
and also feed Marc Weiss spectra vital and Dt's about 3 times a week my wife and I really love reeftanks and have been in the hobby a long time thank you for considering my tank, I am currently stocking my 90 fowler and will also post pics of it soon,once again thanks you for considering me.
