Just because I like the design of the downdraft I was wondering what is the smalest downdraft Skimmer in operation. I am talking about one that won't overskim a 20gal with a 20 gal sump.

I think you could just go with a small skimmer, I think that you'd be hard pressed to over skim. I imagine you could overskim though. Your actually going to be skimming close to 40 gallons anyway with your setup..

The Berlin Classic is rated for 25 - 250 gallons by Red Sea.
