Tank Of The Month Contest Info

We are going to be running A Tank of the Month Contest. prizes will be Gift Certificates to one of our sponsor sites.

All members tanks are welcome to enter.

Rating will be 1 - 10 (1=Worst, 5=Average, 10=Best)

Members will be able to send me the following information:

1) Links to Photos of Their Tanks
2) Description of what is in the tank (i.e. LiveStock)
3) Description of Tank and all components (pumps, filters, heaters)
4) Brief Statement from you about your tank and what it means to you.

Some of the rules for entering your tanks:

1) The tank should be your own tank. registered members.
2) You must be registered member at Reeflounge.com
3) You must be an active member of the Reeflounge.com Site.
4) We invite you to have your friends vote on your tank, but they must be
4) Winners can only win once.
5) Vote fairly or your tank will be disqualified :(

The judging will comprise of:

1) Members Votes = 50%
2) Moderators Votes = 30%
3) Admin Vote = 20%

Things to consider when voting:

1) Layout and Design
2) Aesthetics
3) Special Design Features

Look at all the tanks before you vote :)

Tuesday July 5th We will turn on the voting on the Tanks for the TOTM Contest.

Ok, Voting has been enabled on the TOTM Posts. Please be kind when you vote :)

Get as many members to vote for your tank. Only registered members will be allowed to vote. So if you know someone that isn't a member, tell them to join and vote.

Ok, After Much Delay, We will start the TOTM again in February. Please send me a PM or email with your tank info and Pictures.

Please provide as much info about your tank and the setup.

It does not matter if the tank is a new setup or an established tank.

So get us your entries

Also any previous tanks that were entered can be entered again, just send me a PM with your old tank info that is in the previous TOTM section.

(my homepage) i am starting my tank and wondering if you guys are going to start doing the TOTM again? like sense its called TOTM just wondering if you guys would do it every month THANKS!!! Mike, we do a POTM (picuture of the month) every month.

Usually if you win the TOTM you don't need any suggestions.

since we're such a small community i would say TOTM would be every 6 months or even annually so we can have a big prize or couple small ones
