You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

Since you have a reef ready tank, I assume you are going to have a insump skimmer. I would recommend looking at the Euroreef or a
Lifereef. For a hangon, AquaC wins hands down. 8)

I will be running an in-sump skimmer. How is the Kent Nautalis skimmer?

I have not heard anything on that skimmer, but I think you would be better off with a well know and tested skimmer.
