I have a 50 and I have a pritty slow overflow like 300gph. Just want to know if faster is better the sump is mostly a refugima but water from main tank does not enter refugima, so is fater better?

This is the manufacturer of my refugium they have some recommended flows for there sumps maybe you can use it as a reference.

I think (within reason) the slower the water in a fuge, the better.
