If you could do your lighting all over again, what would you get and why?

I would personally up my wattage from 4 55 watt VHO to 4 95 watt VHO

I purchased a Custom Sealife 4 x 65w and have changed the bulbs to 2 true 03 and 2 10k which I'm very happy with I do plan on adding 2 more 55w bulbs but undecide which color to use either 2 50/50 or 2 03's.

I personally, and very happy with my current lighting; 2, 250wt Iwasaki MH, and 4, 65wt PC's (03 actinic).

If I were to change anything, I would likely have changed my 4, 65wt PC's to 96wt PC's, which would be 4, 96wt PC's along with 2, 250wt Iwasaki MH. Or, have 4, 110wt VHO actinics instead of the 65wt PC's.

But, as I said, I'm pretty happy with my current lighting :)

DE are awesome lights my favorite de is Ab-Aqualine

I currently run a 70W 10,000K HQI Double Ended -Aqualine AB on my nano and love it with no supplement. But the heat it generates in a small area is the reason I don't want to run it on my large tank.

Currenlt I have 1 55w PC and 3x20w on my 40. Looking to upgrade to either 4x36w, PC 4x55pc or 2x96pc. I am doing this because I will have better intensity and PC's are very efficent.

out of those listed watchman...i would go with the 4x55 setup...220 total watts!

also the configuration of bulbs would be ideal in a 4-by system, either 2 50/50's, 1 10k, 1 actinic, or 2 10k's 2 actinics...i'm assuming that the 4-by system would have four seperate switches, but only 2 plugs...that way two ballast per timer, and you could have the actinics on on timer come on before the 10k's to help simulate sunrise/sunset...

the 2x250w DE w 440w VHO will be for a 75gal (60x18x16). I have a feeling that 2x400w MH would just be too much for a San Diego summer regarding electricity, heat, and evaporation... what do you think?
