I've got some frags of this:

Pocillopora damiconris , yellowish with pink tips. Frags are around 1 - 1.5 inches long, with branches.
$15 each or will trade for green or brown Pocillopora frag, or pink Seriatopora frag, or any non-photosynthetic coral.
Pickup only please, I am unable to ship at this time.

Pocillopora is a hardy sps coral that does well under many reef conditions; it is often one of the first sps corals to colonize a bare area in the reef.

The mother colony gets good water motion, and is under four 40-watt NO fluorescents about 8 inches from the surface of the water. Brighter light will bring out the colors better, but I've seen colonies of it pop up (from bailed polyps) under ledges and in my refugium under much lower lighting and they do fine. Actinic lighting also brings out the colors. Calcium supplementation helps growth.

Here's a baby picture of the colony above, taken on August, 2000:

Here's a colony that sprouted on my overflow box:

Hey saltcreep,

Just curious if you have sold the frag yet. I would be very interested in posibly purchasing a frag from you a bit later on :) , that's if no one has picked it up, likely it's already been sold though.

Hey Graham,

Happy New Year! I still have frags of it, and can easily break more off from the mother colony.

Thanks, and happy new year to you too! :-D

I might be interested in picking up a frag :) I would prefer to wait until I upgrade to my 2, 400wt Radiums (on an 80 gallon 48"Lx24"Hx16"W. I should definitaly have them likely by the end of january, probably that would be the latest) until I pick up the frag though :)
