I got word that my 240gal is shipping out today. :P I was freaking out when my wife told me about my X-Mas tank. I have been thinking all day what I am going to do for a stand. Build... Buy... I went to HD and look around at all kinds of thing to try and get some kind of ideas. They had nothing that I would trust my tank on. :? So then it came to me the shelving that is setting right there. You know all the orange racks that the have everything setting on. Will the customer service rep got me in touch with the vender that supplies the their shelving. This is the cool part the load capacity is warranted from 3000- 10000 lbs. and it is only going to cost $125.00 for the whole thing. I plan on using the shelving for a frame and then build around it with oak.

This is just an idea for your stand. Here is the companies info.

The guy was great he figured the weight of everything including the water and then told me what I needed.

That's cool, but I was not confident of anyone or myself building a stand to hold my 320+ water volume. I wanted to have some kind of warrenty that I could home to a wet floor and someone would be paying and it wasn't goign to be me.

What size of tank do you have? I would love to see some pictures...

Cheers,
MJ
