do you have the overflows from a wet/dry? if so get some 3/16" or 1/4" lexan or plexiglass and some GE silicone (home Depot) NOT THE GE II thats got antifungal stuff in it and WILL harm your tank. Get some light fixture grid at Home DEpot too and carefully cut and glue pieces in like this. The powerhead under the Bioballs power the pvc piping thats been sealled off and drilled witha 1/8" bit andpowered thru one inlet "T" fitting. You can then make something that looks like this:

and alot of hours, approx 20 to figure out the best layout and assembly.
***powerheads,Overflow, hose, piping,Bioballs from my Amiracle w/d which i paid $150 for it.
There are a few other things i had that i used that i cant really cosider in the cost, like the table saw, caulk gun, etc........
My tank went from Ammonia 1 to .25, Nitrite .25 to 0 , and Nitrate from 40 to 5 in less then a week once i got the live sand/live rock and plants in the set up, and ive added 5 damsels and5 Chromis in the last 2 weeks. Here are a few pics of it up and running. Ive added 5lbs of live rock and 5 lbs of sand to it and threw in some hermit crabs and the rocks are loaded with worms,stars,etc....
