I have one Golden Mollie, but she just won't let ANY food drop down below the surface so my tetras can eat it! I have 3 neon's and 3 diamond tail's, but they don't eat food off of the surface, like my Mollie does. I've tried doing things like poking the flakefood underwater so they drop, but she just eats that too! Then if I take a pinch of the flakefood and put it underwater, then too much falls down too rapidly. Do I have to catch my stupid Mollie each time I want to feed my fish? Or is there a way to fix this, other than getting rid of my mollie?

You might want to consider a ring feeder. Place it in one corner of the tank and add flakes to it. While the molly is there, feed the rest of the fish from the other end of the tank. Can not promise it will work, but for a few $$, it may (most larger pet stores carry them). It attaches to the tank wall with a ring right at the water surface to keep the food in a common location till it sinks.

Good luck
