probably the wrong forum but I just want to pass along this deal I saw. If anyone if looking for a rose bta about 5-6 inches, you can drop this this store in los angeles. I was there this weekend and they had 3 clones for about $65. Hopefully this will encourage people to see their clones cheaper. It's by the 60 freeway at Atlantic. The store name is something like Tropical Fish or Bob's Tropical Fish.

Don't know... They're just a LFS. You can probably do a yellow page search in los angeles or e. los angeles.

:( I searched the LA yellow pages (Aquarium, Bob's Tropical, Tropical Fish, etc all tried) to no avail!
Can you get us a phone number by chance? $65 for rose bta is very good
Thanks!

You're right. I can't find the telephone number. All I know is that it's next to the anime store in east los angeles off the 60 freeway at atlantic blvd. I was able to find the number for the "Fleischman, Horacio MD - Universal Medical Clinic" which is pretty much in the same plaza. If you want you might call them and ask them to run down the plaza and pick up a buisiness card for the number.

I've been to almost every LFS in Los angeles, and probably have visited one of these places.
1. The Aqurium (culver city, near freeway)
2. Apex Aquariums (Awesome store!)
3. Aquatic Outlet (also neat the freeway. Visit www.aquaticoutlet.com for more info)
4. Jeffs Exotic fish, orange county (Is this the place that you are talking about? This is an awesome store! See www.exoticfish.com for more info)
Those are just some that specilize in 'Reef/Saltwater' aquariums, and around the area that you meantioned.
BWT- Moving to the correct forum!

:D It is great to be living in SoCal now! I recently moved from NorCal in the south Bay Area. It is great getting to go to some of the wholesalers near LAX and some pretty good LFS too.
Our local fish club (MASLAC) has some awesome members too (Joe Kelly, Tracy Gray and Steve Tyree to mention a few I read about before I even joined). We get guest speakers like Charles Delbeek, Julian Sprung, Anthony Calfo and Scott Michael as well.
Anyhoo, I'll see if I can dig up that number tomorrow. If it's Jeff's, I just went there for the first time last week. Very nice and good prices too. He did not have rose anemones last week.
