'Tis better to be brief than tedious...

if you see my spec below... what would be my options for a refugium. Would the benefit be worth losing some space in the tank?

One it is always a benefit to add a refugium.
Two why would you lose space?

I would ALso look around and see, lots of people selling premade, like mine I got for a guy, I got a 15 gallon long tank with dividers, a U tube overflow, and a brand new pump (not rio!!!!) All that for $75 good deal!! LOOK around Good luck!
