You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

LOL, it's good to have a piece of barnacle IMO since most my amphipods spawn in them and seem to like it for no reason that I know of.

I just bought a powerhead, and I am a total newb, but.... Is the powerhead supposed to be that deep in the water? Isn't there a waterline?

What kind of powerhead did you buy? Most of the powerheads I have seen are completely submersible. Check the instructions it should give you several options of installing it.
