Have I done it rite?? QT ??? HELP!!

Hi, I have my QT tank set up.

I used a 10G emply tank, aquaclear 150 hang on filter and a little heater.

I used 90% of water from my main tank and took the poly wool filter from aquaclear 500 in to main tank into my aquaclear 150 on top of foam filter. Also, I put an airstone in the bottom of the corner.

Have I done it rite?? since I put an air stone, there are lot of bubbles coming out at the bottom corner and it seems to produce lot of current. Is it neccessary?? Or should I still use the air stone??


Please help, I have put 4 fish into QT already with med. treatment.

If i havent done it rite, i can rearrange the setting again.

I bought Maracyn-Two for freshwater because LSF told me that it works same as saltwater one and they are the same type antiotic. Is it true??

Or What eles treatment works well for them??


The first day, I added 2 and the second day (today) I added one only ( because i bought 8 tablets) is it enough for the treatment??

Since I put all fish ( two damsel, one trigger and one koran angel) into the QT, right now I still dont feed them anything because I am afraid of ammonia. So, should i feed them any other day?? or everyday just little amount??
