I first have to state that I have tried to work with acrylic and failed miserably several times. So I had frank at reefconcepts build the cylinder for me, and I did the rest. I will post some more detailed pics as soon as I update my web site. I have the input/output coming from the bottom, because I did not want to drill/tap the holes in the side of cylinder. The cylinder is 30" Tall x 8" in dia (6 gallons)

I looked into the pro, and opted for the II. The pro will measuer conductivity and has the ability to contoll a micro switch I think. I had no reason to monitor confductivity, and I had no plan on using microswitches. I have yet to regret purchasing the II. Hope that helps.

Here is the finished product. I have a mag 7 setup on my Aquacontroller to stir the mix every 12 hours for 1 hour. During the stirring period the AC turns off the float switch. The float switch comes on 2 hrs after the stirring has completed. This prevents the tank getting toped off with a super saturated dose of kalk. It seems to take 1 - 1.5 hrs for the kalk to settle.
The picture here is with the pump on, and about 5 shot glasses of kalk in the reactor.
