Thanks for the info on the Heraldi. Now if possible I would like some info on the Six Line Wrasse. Everybody I know has one, as do I, but none of my books has any information on them. :?: :?: If anyone has some I would appreciate it.

Pseudocheilinus hexataeniathes a.k.a. six line wrasse are colorful fish, and are becomming ever more popular in reef tanks...

these fish are pretty good pod hunters, so any fish that have the same diet will be competing for food...i would not recommend keeping this this with a dragonet...
however, if you plan to keep tridacna, the six line will eat (at least they've been observed eating) the tiny snails that feed feed on the clams...
the six line's are quite docile, and reef safe...as well, since they are wrasses, they are cleaner fish, and have been known to eat parasitic cryptocaryon (ich).
on a scale of one to ten, i would rate them a six...only reason for an average number is their required diet of healthy a copepod population.

Is there any info on the maximum size that can be expected in the average aquarium. The one I have was purchased quite small, not much more than one inch long. :D

The six line wrass ( Pseudocheilinus hexataenia ) shouldn't grow more than 3" in the aquarium. They stay fairly small.
There's also another thread on the Six Line wrasses over Here (http://www.ReefLounge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27&highlight=six+line+wrasse) and it might be worth while to take a look.

My personal experience with the 6 lined wrasse is an awful and sad story. Back when I was new to SW my LFS said that a 6 line would be a good addition to my aquarium. Behold the next day where did my cleaner and 2 pepermints go? Into Mr. Sixline. Wait it gets worse...Next day it dies.

back when i started my tank i purchased a 6 line wrasse and it was doing GREAT for 3 days... then i came home one night and found him swimming in circles at the top... the next day he was a gonner. i think i got him to early for my tank beacuse i think he ran out of food and died. i was pissed he was the coolest little fish.

I've been researching options for my 4th and final fish and was considering the sixline. My impression from reading a lot of tales of personal experience is that there is a *lot* of variation in temperament with this particular species.
In other words, there are many perfectly docile, peaceful, neighborly sixlines who eat fish food, graze on LR and even help with parasites, bristleworms etc; and then there are "reef terror" sixlines who wreak havoc on your tank. I think the reef terrors are less common, but basically you're rolling the dice when you get a sixline. You hope you're getting a "good" one.
On the other hand, they are pretty cheap and readily available. But so are damsels, $3 apiece at Petco! :| (
