Does anyone know if a fish can cure themselves after getting this virus or are they doomed? Mine has it under the mouth and on some gills and fins.

What are you feeding? Try soaking the food in Zoe, garlic, and vitamin c. Not a cure all but will increase the immunity of the fish and give them a chance to heal themselves. Make sure your water quality is good. Good luck!

I feed the fish flakes and a frozen mixture. I soak the food in garlic, I got this fish about a week ago and he came with the virus, but it seems to be getting worse. I ordered it from the internet.

Try the Zoe along with the garlic. I have found that flame angels do not ship well at all. Everyone I ordered online perished. This is one fish I would not get unless you can see it before hand and even then its risky.
