Ok so I was at a fish store in my old neighborhood just seeing what they had and stuff when I came across this clown trigger. It looked mad, but I think it was. When I passed by it, it swam up and down and moving it's mouth like if it was talking to me. I started laughing and it go more furious. Anyone seen this behavior in a trigger before? I wanted to buy it but they wanted $90 bucks for it. If it was like 40 I would've bought but $90 is out of my league.

lol do you realise how big they get ? 90$ is a pretty good deal for that fish. That fish could never be housed in a 29 gallon... the get up to 1 foot 8 inches big, i'm not trying to be a dick but thats HUGE

Clown triggers are extremely aggressive and mean tempered fish. Be careful what you house it with and ensure the tank is large enough. Definately not reef safe.

I wasn't planning on getting this fish for a 29 gallon tank lol, I was going to get 2 60 gallon acrylic tanks and tear down 1 wall on each to combine them both into a 120, I really just wanted it for my guests to laugh at when it was talking "sh*t" to us lol.

Just my 2 cents, but be careful buying the trigger if you have acrylic tanks. Clowns have so much personality that they like to get your attention by scraping their teeth on the sides leaving the tank all scratched up, I know because it happened to me.

how do you take down walls on tanks like that? I would like to know because I have 3 10 gal. lying around that I would like to combine. Thanks Evan.
