Well, I must say I like buttons, LED screens, and all of that cool stuff I dont need. I am by NO means any sort of photographer. So I went out any got one of those cool Nikon 5700. This camera is wayyyy out of my league. I can take normal pics, and they seem to come out ok, but when I try to zoom in, everything gets fuzzy and just looks terrible. any one have one of these cameras or any experience with them

TIA,
Scott

Press the button with the flower on it, to put it into macro mode, that should help some.

Make sure your focusing on what you want rather than something in the back ground. Turn off the digital zoom. Get a tripod and use the timer whenever possible. Get the manual out and figure out how to use the manual settings and use them over the auto. Play with it, experiment, remember pixels are free ;)

If at first you don't succeed, R.T.F.M. If that doesn't work, get a bigger hammer! With a big enough hammer you can fix anything!

This is not true, you need duct tape to fix anything, but with a big enough hammer you can fix most things ;)

Ok, the duct tape comes after the big hammer. :P

Both the 5000 and the 5700 are 5.? i cant remeber 5.4 maybe?. I have always found you need

1. hammer to fix it
2. duct tape to fix what you just broke
3. sawzall to gid rid of any of the evidence before your wife see's that you reall screwed it up
