Hi,
My dad has a 90 gallon (48 X 18 X 24) that has been set-up for about 15 years ! I wanted to set-up a saltwater tank in my room, but my mom convinced me that it would save me alot of money to reset the 90 Gallon up ! It used to be a nice looking reef but about 4-5 years ago it went down . It is still set-up with alot of live rock, lot of sand but that brings up another question ! Im guessing that because there havent been lights on the tank for about 4 years, that we would have to seed the live rock and live sand right ? Still have the lights ( Icecap Ballast w/2-110 watt actinic white and 2-110 watt actinic blue VHO's)! Was wondering if anyone still uses plenom's ( sorry if its not spelled correct )? The tank has one but i wasnt sure if it would be worth the trouble of taking all the rock out to take the plenom out and have to reset it up, since im pretty sure there out of style !
