I've got a condylactis anemone that has recently (in the past couple of months) curled its tentacles. It still eats and craps on schedule, but it's got some serious jeri-curls going on...
I've not found any research online to help me out, and the LFS around here all employ high school kids that have their own fables about what is happening.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

-D

To be honest, it sounds as if your "supposed" condylactis is in fact a different species by that description. Many types of anemones have long tentacles but very few have curly appendages.

Got a pic?

Cheers
Steve

Sorry... I meant Haitian anemone.
My friend picked it up near Florida.
And I'll try to get a photo...

Thanks,

Sounds a little like the "Pacific Long Stem Curly" Anemone I saw at my LFS today. Very odd and unusuall appearance and pricy at $59.95!!!
