I was so proud to find a clean up crew, I thought, to out smart my triggers - large shelled hermits.
No such luck..
I often found my picasso nipping at the hermits but he never had any luck flipping them over and pulling them out, Until Sunday.
I found bits of claws and legs littered around a newly named area of my tank - The Bone Yard.

Q: Is there a clean up crew for a trigger, eel tank? The hermits made it over a year with no harm done until Sunday.

PS.. Are the misc. legs and claws harmful for the tank, they are small and quite mangled?

Thanks as always.

What if you keep the fish and eels in the tank well fed, this way they wont go after you clean up crew?

They are plenty well fed.
It's just in their nature to go after critters like these - I was just wondering if there are trigger proof cleaners that anyone has used.
Thanks

Maybe you can just put in the biggest snails and crabs you can find :)

This way they can defend themselves, or just do the cleanup yourself :(
