My tank is about 2 mos old. Ive been looking this last weekend for pods. With the lights out using a red flashlight I still cant find any... owell found lots of cool worms and what not (I even saw 2 out of the 3 peppermint shrimps that Ive never seen since I put them in). Today, I was looking in my sump/fuge (didnt see pods there either) but I found a small colony of feather dusters or fan worms, are these ok to keep in the fuge or should I pull them? Will they eat my pods?

They shouldn't be even the slightes bit of a problem. As you might know, feather dusters are harmless filter feeders, usually feeding on drifting plankton or particles in the water column.
I would keep 'em, they're nice for the tank, and usually a sign of good water quality :-)

i agree..the dusters are a great welcome...
also, the best place to look for pods would be on the glass...this is where they most likely will be, after the developmental stage they get quite bigger and start foraging the sand bed, and eventually live rock. i literally have copepods hatching by the hundreds everyday in my tank...but who's complaining!

Ok, I started this thread a month ago tomorrow, I now have all kinds of dusters in my sump, and keep finding them growing in my display also. After the intial shock of seeing some in the sump, the last thing I expected was population bloom in the display... too cool, something else to stare at for hours....
