The tank has been up since march, but I did not want to rush putting corals in without everything being perfect. I am pleased with the results so far. the corals are frags that i purchased from garf.org a month ago. They have doubled in size already.
Thanks again for all the positive feed back!!

Made a little upgrade this weekend.
My CSL hood came with two Fulham Workhorse 5,wich is rated for Maximum Power 128 Watts. I think thats funny considering it came with 4 65w bulbs, wich equals 260w and the ballast are rated for a total of 256w.
So soon after i replace the bulbs with 4 55w bulbs and sure enough they were brighter. I contacted Fulham and told them of my setup and right off the back they recommend the Workhorse 7. Which is capable of driving 220 Watts each, and because it is an electronic ballast it will only use what the bulbs can handle. Well after install the colors seams more true. Also the tempature or the unit seems cooler (like the guy from fulman said it would be).
Here is a side by side photo.

Very nice coral pics, but the larger ones are a bit unfocused, probably due to flash. for easy underwater pics, grab a cheapo underwater disposable camera from Rite Aid or Ralphs or Wal Mart or whatever. Put it in the tank, and wait for those fish to investigate, perfect close ups!

with that kind of setup and that kind of patience, it would not be unlikely to see a full blown garden under the sea in this tank in a year or two. It is great to see someone else on here with patience in adding corals. Great aquascaping setup on the live rock, I like the flow. I want to see a pic at 6 months :D

Well sometimes you just need to start all over...
Last month I noticed that my silicone was seperateing....
So I figured time for a new tank.
So I ordered a new tank. I had a AGA 72 gallon Bowfront, But AGA changed there overflow to be off cetered. This would not work for me because my stand is setup for a corner overflow. So I decided to get a Oceanic. Which was still using corner overflow. So I ordered my tank. Came two weeks later.. And guess what?
The overflow is off centered. Since AGA owns Oceanic I guess they figured make the same overflow...LOL
Well my tank is up...
I lost a lot of corals and one fish my tang :(
So hopefully i will have some new pics up by next month.

Im ordering more live rock for my 55. I want to stack it all the way to the top. I am going to get two more VHOs so I can keep SPS and clams. I want to have SPS on the top and scale down. But with the addition of more rock I will need to let the tank mature some more. :?

LOL its all old rock.....
I only left 1 piece of old live rock out that had alot of hair algae.
All my rock was stacked against back wall. Now it fans out across sand which i like better. I can see all the corals colors better. Its like I'm looking down at them instead of up and under.
I will also be addind a Deco rock for a Tunze Stream Pump.

Do you like the oceanic, i was thinking about replacing my 50 gal cube with oceanics 50 gal tank that is abotu 30 inches long, and its nice and tall, with the stock stand and i imagine i'd have to do a homemade canopy to fit the MH's in

Hair algae died when i left stuff in rubber maids for a week with high volume powerheads.
Some corals did not make it, but most are coming back slowly.
As far as fish... I moved all the damsels to my FOWLR.. I kept my Tang,Blemmy,Royal Gamma, and Fridmani Pseudochromis.
But the tang got beat up bad by the damsels. so he did not make it....
