Hello everyone.
After nearly twenty years of fishkeeping, I now have my first saltwater aquarium. For the past year or so, I've been reading and researching (and saving up money). Anyway, long story somewhat shorter, I bought a setup from a friend of a friend and I think I got a very good deal.
55-gallon aquarium, stand, canopy, trickle filter, heater, 50 pounds of live rock, one Green Chromis, one Ocellaris Clownfish, two cleaner shrimp and two starfish.
I do want to get a good protein skimmer and some more live rock. But I'm not sure I want any more livestock, because it's so neat the way it is.
Anyway, I don't guess I have any questions. I just wanted to post because it's very exciting. I'm just amazed at the variety of life within the live rock. I think I see something new every day. And these fish seem so much more beautiful and graceful than any freshwater fish I've had.
Now I think I should have done this years ago.
