You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

do u think this would work, siphon fed 20gal tank under main tank, DBS Calpeura ect, in the corner a pump to feed a canister filter ( with nothing in it ) to be used for the return line? A small hole will be drilled in the siphon line so in the event of power out the siphon will stop once the hole is reached...is this a good idea?? i don't have a sump to turn into a fuge, the only option for me is in my skilter box here is a pic, its the bottom one:

I could turn the place where i have placed ehfisubstate into a fuge?? any ideas?

I am not perfectly clear on what you are wanting to do, but here are a few points.

If you are going to use a 20 gallon tank as a sump, you can have pieces of acrylic cut for it from Lowes or any other home improvement store pretty cheap. Then you can silicone these sections in. You can use this to create a refugium area in the 20 gallon, as well as sections for any other use that you would like.

As far as using a canister for a return, you will want to keep in mind that a canister is designed under the concept of a closed loop to maintain the high GPH. If you are using it for a return pump, the GPH may be cut down too much for your taste, but it is worth a try.
