Cool sounds like fun.......... Do you realize how hard it is to get an image of a moving object in the dark without a flash? But I'll keep at it!!!

I don't think putting a photo in black & white counts unless it was actually taken at night.

definitely the original is wayyyyy better.

If you think so then use the orig as my entry if you want to doesn't matter to me. These contests are just for fun and if I happen to win one, bonus.( it makes me take the camera out)

I like the original better also. But just to clarify, it is ok to edit an image in PS and use that as your entry. You just have to post the original here, http://www.reeflounge.net/gallery/main.php

I've always like the old B/W. With todays technology and viberant colors everyone expects to see colors. Maybe for a future POTM we could do a B/W only.
Here is another I was working on but I never got the full fish in the background. And this is an orig image to just croped.

Looks like you really overdid the saturation in Photoshop on the pics.
BLAKEJOHN
09-19-2008, 11:35 AM
That one with the tang has no saturation at all. just levels.

Really? The tail looks grainy which you usually get when the hue saturation is too high.

A very strange Chiton. Stretched out it was around 9"-10"
Sometimes it would poke it's head out during the day.
